Helen Ruth Caldwell

My last grandparent has left this world. On Saturday, December 31st, 2022, Helen Ruth Caldwell shed her mortal coil and joined her husband, son, brother, and the many others who have gone before her.

When we lose a loved one, we tend to build them up in our heads and wax poetically about how amazing that person was. My grandmother wasn’t perfect. She was human and she had her fair share of flaws. But she was a wonderful grandma.
